Otto II, Holy Roman Emperor (d.983) [Ottonian Dynasty] and his 1st Cousin 3 Times Removed - Agnes of Poitou, Holy Roman Empress (d.1077) [House of Poitiers-Aquitaine (Ramnulfids)] - were the only Holy Roman Emperor and Empress to have been buried in Saint Peter’s Basilica.
Emperor Otto II was husband of Theofano (d.991).
Empress Agnes was the 2nd wife of Henry III, Holy Roman Emperor (d.1056) [Salian Dynasty].
