An important first step for anyone’s genealogy research - is to obtain as much information as possible from relatives who are still alive.
This information - obtained from living relatives - can then be used as a starting point for more detailed genealogy research.
A recent client and I - were fortunate when my genealogy research
uncovered direct ancestor links with Early Settlers of Pennsylvania
(late 1600’s) and Early Settlers of New England (early 1600’s) - plus a
few of their respective English and Welsh ancestors (back to the
1500’s).
In addition - the exciting discovery of an Early New England "Gateway
Ancestor" - who had Royal Ancestry and was a direct descendant of Edward
I "Longshanks" King of England (died 1307).
